Meet the Pastors of Living Word Family Ministries
BIOS OF THE ELOI’S
Pastor D.S. Eloi and Pastor Rosie was born on the beautiful island of Dominica in the beautiful West Indies. They both accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives at an early age. Pastor Eloi enrolled in the Caribbean Christian Union Bible School but later migrated to St. Thomas United States Virgin Islands. Because of his love for God, he immediately enrolled in the Bethel Bible School under the direction of Pastor Bentley Thomas. Pastor Eloi continued his education by attending the Charlotte Amalie Continuing Education and obtained his High School Diploma. Following that, he studied at the International Bible College and Seminary in Plymouth Florida where he received several certificates including his Ordination Certificate and his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology.
He worshiped at the Apostolic Faith Church in Smith Bay St. Thomas United States Virgin Islands for 21 years. There he served the Lord in almost every capacity. To name a few, he was involved as a speaker and announcer in the Radio Ministry; he was Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, Youth Pastor, outdoor Evangelist and bus Driver. He served well in every area no matter how small.
Later Sister Rosie as she is affectionately called migrated to ST. Thomas where she met and married Pastor Eloi. They later moved to another local ministry where Pastor Eloi served as Assistant Pastor for nine years. Pastor Eloi has ministered in several countries such as England, Ukraine, South Africa, Albania, Trinidad, Israel, Greece, Jordan, the United States including its territories and other British & Caribbean islands.

He always accepts invitations when asked to perform various duties by government and local businesses authorities within the community. He is well known for his kind, loving and thoughtful deeds to many. He has been honored by a former church, Senator Roosevelt David several times, and Senator Celestino White for his outstanding community services and deposits.
He is also a husband for 37 years to his wife Rosie, a proud father and mother of one daughter Tracy, a Son-in-law, and two precious grand sons’ Kirk Jr. and Kevin Michael Callwood. Pastor Eloi and his wife love the Lord and loves people. He also loves his community and serves very well in varied capacities.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and an Associate in Office Assistant and Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands. Administration is her passion and she does it well as she and her husband pastors the (12) year old ministry. She worked secularly in the banking industry for 18 years, has owned her own business for 11 years and later gave back to society as she taught one year at the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School.
She believes in educating herself in fields of interest. She also has earned several diplomas in other fields of study such as Legal Transcription from Professional Career Development Institute out of Georgia. She has also earned diplomas in Psychology & Social Work, Effective Business Writing and even a diploma in Computer Repair. She is an enthusiastic learner who believes in learning all you can, when you can at a legal cost. She has a strong passion to see people excel and do well in their personal lives. She believes that one should always be taking steps to their desired goals even if they are baby steps.
All her achievements she credits to the Lord God and her husband. She has authored a book, “Simple Prayers” and has sold more than 1000 copies. She is presently working on two more books soon to be published. Today, she and her husband feel honored and delightfully blessed to be involved in the service of the Lord.
